A bit about my journey so far
Originally an archaeologist focusing on the Middle Palaeolithic, I later went on to work in the education teams of museums, art galleries and NGO’s. Until recently I was a London-based freelance Creative Educator and yoga teacher, working in museums, art galleries, prisons and fine art schools. Now based on a wild, tiny island in the Caribbean I co-run a nature education organisation and guide yoga sessions.
What lights me up
I am inspired by movement/yoga, meditation, travel, music in all its forms and creativity.
Being barefoot in nature, the smell of camp fires, picking wild fruit, the strange limbo time spent in airport transit zones, pottering around London markets, coffee, a good quote, a good poem, a good hug, marmite on crumpets, driftwood, fresh bed sheets, art exhibitions, discussing life and the biq questions, the power of the mind…
“Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.”
